My little buddy waited patiently in a tree that is right outside the sliding glass doors of our family room. He knows I would be opening those doors to throw him his peanuts and any cookies we aren't eating anymore. He's such a sweetie! When I did open the doors, he came down from his tree and ran right up to me. He politely sat upright and, with gratefulness in his little face , accepted his daily gifts.

That is soooo sweet..We had a squirrel years ago that would actually come in our Living room.he would bang on the door somehow to let us know he was hungry...Then I found out 1 day that there were a few other families he visited. We have good memories of our little friend that we named "Spike" (and then we founf out that Spike had a nest of babies in a neighbors can of charcoal.
ReplyDeleteMy GS was about 4 at the time and he still remembers the visits from Spike :)
love the little squirrel photos..we have about 5 or 6 that come and visit when we put food out in the feeders..the cats love watching their antics..:)
ReplyDeleteWe have had so many with unique personalities! One of ours used to ring the doorbell! It's not that he knew what he was doing; he would sit on our front door railing and lean against the house and always hit the bell!
