Unique Halloween Items

Good Afternoon! Another afternoon post cause the mornings have been super busy! I am seeing so many incredible ideas on blogs for Fall decorating and Halloween! If anyone is on facebook, there is a really nice facebook page called Halloween Cottage. Check it out! It's a great site and has lots of nice pictures, ideas, recipes, decorations, sayings, etc. You'll like it!

Still setting up the decorations...got a bit slowed down for a day or so but now back to it for a little while today as I have a busy weekend coming up.  I have a few unique Halloween items I think you might like! I unpacked my Halloween buddies!

These are actually candy containers! The top of their heads are open for candy! The black cat has a lid for the top of his head and the pumpkin is open.

Sometimes I sit a witch's hat upon his head.

These little guys I purchased about 15 years ago from a local store that is no longer around. I have had both good and bad reaction to them actually! Some people love them, think they are so folk-artish and others just think they're plain creepy. I love them! What do you think?

In front of my big dining area window I put our metal Halloween tree.

Each "spider" holds a tea light candle so you can light him up!

He joins my very favorite blow mold--- my Salem witch!

Now I know that she is not unique, that many people have her, but she is my favorite and I waited years for her. Long before there was an ebay I wanted her and a friend found her at a garage sale in Pennsylvania about ten years ago for me. I have seen reproductions of her but they give her a green face which is not so great looking. I treasure her!

Here's another unique item, a blow mold of a candle. It has two sides to him/personalities...

Which side should I choose this year?

As I was reading other blog posts about blow molds, it is funny that there are some that people have that I have never seen --ever. And I've been loving blow molds for over twenty years! My theory is that perhaps certain molds were sold in different areas of the country...I will photograph my mini blow molds this weekend or if I have time later. But when I see other people's collections I am awed by some I have never seen!

Last but not least, I decorated a small hallway. There are orange lights above the ghosts and the ghosts light up as well. The two teddy bears are from Michaels.

I bet you have some unique Halloween stuff in your collection! It makes collecting all the more fun!

Before I run, pop over to The Rusty Thimble and enter an amazing giveaway! Even if you don't win it's a great site so you are rewarded no matter what! Go check it out! Go on......go on....
