More Halloween & Camping!

Caitlin and I left yesterday after school for our first Brownie camping trip. We came home late this afternoon and what a great time we had! The weather was perfect and the scenery was amazing. The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County Long Island has a great camp called Camp Edey and we had some old fashioned camp fun that made a weekend we'll never forget. We sang camp songs around a campfire last night and then woke bright and early this morning to go paddle boating,  later on we made scarecrows,  some crafts to swap with other troops, did some nature walking  and then made smores! My Brownie troop was so excited to mingle with other troops from other towns and they played fun games in the dark woods (supervised, of course) like manhunt, and 7-Up, charades, old maid. It was such a nice experience to be in the woods with my girls and some Moms that I really like! There were even some not so scary ghost stories told! Here are a few snap shots!

Now we are home sweet home once again and boy am I pooped!

On Friday I photographed some more Halloween and also took out more blow molds. I also went to two incredible garage sales before I left for Girl Scout camp but those goodies I will show next post. Here's a few more blow molds!

I will have to find a place for them throughout the house this weekend. Not sure if I'll be putting them all out.The last picture of the Halloween totem pole is the blow mold my son calls the "be everything for Halloween" mold. It has all the significant Halloween figures so if you can only have ONE Halloween decoration in your house, just ONE--this is it cause it covers the spectrum!Even the witch is represented with a witch hat on the pumpkin's head!  hahahaha  that's according to my son!
Have a great Saturday night!
