Old Man Winter.....

Everyone is feeling the effects of Winter this year~not just us Northerners! I've been loving the posts on blogger about about my Southern friends getting an inch or two or just seeing flurries. How exciting for them! Enjoy! We had our 14 inches that froze absolutely solid into icebergs...then it thawed on Monday and melted down some...then what was left FROZE again in even colder temps and now it is snowing lightly and we have added two more inches...I still love it! I love all the seasons. I have to say I have been looking forward to Spring a little...thinking of a garden, of Easter, of flower shopping....I love to think and plan about what's coming up! We must have something to look forward to! Winter won't be here forever.

Valentines Day is coming, Easter is coming, Hurray!

I've been making a few prim crafts around here....I made a few more of these votive candle holders with popcorn kernels. The jar is a light green and the yellow of the popcorn kernels makes it so cozy! They glow so nicely:

I went into the closet where my Easter crafts are. Just to take a peek and see if I can add something to them or make a few more:

I guess I'm in a Spring mood after all...even with all the snow outside. And look who hopped in:

You thought I was gonna say the Easter bunny, didn't you? It's Chestnut!
Have a great day!

  2. I enjoyed your Spring/Easter post. I'm SO done with winter! And I love your bunny Chestnut. He looks friendly, like he actually likes to be held. Unlike our antisocial cat!
    Stay warm!
