Good Morning!

Good Morning Friends! I just love this photo above (I didn't take it) but I adore it! I did take this photo Sunday morning:

Beautiful cardinals. I love them. Did you know you will always see them in pairs? Husband and wife. Never leave each other's side.

So we had a big snow a couple weeks back. 27 inches to be precise. We were quite buried and although I enjoy snow, that was a little too much plus it made it a bit difficult for my husband to handle his job site in NYC.  We live an hour away and usually NYC gets less than us here on Long Island but this time they got equally bombarded. It's all good though! My front door sure looked pretty!

My Valentine tree is ready to go. Though I keep adding things we make to it. I didn't get to do as much this year but I am so pleased with this tree!

My son even brought back an ornament from his South Carolina trip for it. I think I'll either do St Patrick's Day next or skip right to Easter! Though I always decorate for St Patrick's Day too!

This is just a pretty image of one of the windows in my livingroom. I love seeing the snow fall!

Look at my recent acquisitions:

Pasta Bowl

Platter

I love all my rooster stuff! Can never have enough!

Oh, and I knew there was one more thing...I made a very cute button garland for my kitchen tree:

It looks prim and adorable!

Hope your day is wonderful!

  1. Hello Margaret, glad to hear you made it through the snowstorms! It surely was severe by all accounts we saw on our news.
I adore that cute button garland you made & your Valentine's tree is just gorgeous!
    Have a happy week ahead!
    Hugs

  2. Gosh your door does look pretty, and I love that little picture too. I'm crazy about chickadees and we have plenty of crazy squirrels. I'm still feeding them through the window by the breakfast table. They just sit there and look sad till they get some peanut butter sandwich.
You must have gotten our snow too this year. We haven't had 5 good inches all together, and we've had plenty of rain. No one seems to mind! Stay warm for just a little longer!

  3. That snow storm was amazing. I was "almost" envious. I love all your sweet pics. Your valentine tree looks lovely. I think I might just skip St. Patrick's and jump right into Easter. It's so early this year, or it feels like it. Have a wonderful weekend.
