It sure felt like Spring yesterday and today! The temps are were close to 50 degrees yesterday and today though it drops to the 20's at night. It still will be cold but I keep dreaming of Spring! Thinking of my garden and buying my vegetable plants and flowers. I can't help but wish the days away till Spring comes. I always loved Winter. Now it just makes things a little more difficult. I will always love my cozy snow days though! I went outside today and decided to get a head start on the clean up! I cleaned up the yard from the Winter storms and my gardens are clean and ready to be planted.
I have Easter and St Patrick's Day on my mind but still haven't finished decorating. My son has home tutors due to his illness and it makes it hard to have consistent time to stick to one project lately :( I'll get it all done! I did find this really cute idea on the computer that I think I will make:
Here's a little bunny in my foyer:
Out came my little St Patrick's Day gal:
It's always a joy to take her out! Don't you miss certain things you put away each year? I'm that way with a few things for all the holidays. It breaks my heart to pack them up when the holiday is over. For now, she's here to stay!
Have a great night!

There you are Maggie! I was missing you! I started putting out easter yesterday. But I went out to breakfast and didnt come home until 3:30! That was a long breakfast! lol! I ended up going shopping with a couple friends. so I worked on the kitchen last night. I'll do the living room this morning. Its fun to unpack all the bunnies and chicks and try to figure out where to put everything! lol!
ReplyDeleteI guess we're supposed to get some of that nice weather today! supposed to be about 52 here. Im thinking about having Tony cook some steaks on the grill. and the thought is turning in my mind to invite all the kids over for dinner as well. just a thought.. hmmm...

We have a nice springlike day today in Utah. We are definitely putting some spareribs on the barbie...with Sweet Baby Ray BBQ Sauce...yummy! I always like to "rediscover" my treasures from the year before...especially new ones I have made and forgotten about...lol!
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret! I wish I could say the temps are warming up here but today it's so cold around freezing so well stay close to the fire!
ReplyDeleteI'm still dreaming of spring though! Love the cute pretzel ducklings and bunnies!
Have a fun week!
It's been such a crazy winter. Warm one day and then a blizzard the next. We had a terrific snow storm earlier this week that left with us 10 inches of new snow. Honestly, I don't mind as long as I don't have to drive in it. I've started getting my Easter out and look forward to spending more time with my Easter cuties this weekend. Have a wonderful weekend ahead! Love those pretzel ideas. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love the pretzel/chocolate idea you found, super cute! I don't do anything for Saint Patricks day... maybe I should! Your little Paddy day gal is adorable :-)
